In the year 1960 in Karnataka State the Mysore State Road Transport Association was formed to encourage the spirit of “ESPIRT-DE-CORPS” among the members so as to develop a sense of unity among the transport operators, agents, owners and
with a view to safeguard and defend their legitimate rights and privileges, promote their interests, improve and develop
their business.
In the year 1981-1982, Mr.A.A.Badami became the President and Mr. N. K. Agarwal became
Honorary Secretary of the Association's name
and the name was changed to M/s. Karnataka Goods Transporters'
Association (Registered).
Since then KGTA has being rising from strength to strength and today it is one of the
premier Organization with membership strength more than 1000 members.
KGTA is now acknowledge as a powerful arm of Transport Fraternity. More...
